Kinda slow day for trading. I am trying to lessen my losses on the loser trades. I am recording in excel how many ticks of heat I take on the winning trades and take that double the average as my stop for the trade. Right now its around 2.5 ticks of heat so around 5-6 ticks is when am looking to get out of the trade with a loss.

Kinda slow day of trading took only the trades I thought were decent. My only loss was a trade I cut short and took a 4 tick loss. Was not moving the way I liked it, so I cut my losses early. Turned out it would have moved in my direction and hit my target with ease. I $160 swing there, but oh well. Made 8 ticks for the day.

Kept the losses small and waited for my setups. Caught a good runner at the end for the 20 tick winner for the market replay.

Not a good day for me... First trade was a winner. Second trade, not so well... There were at least two or three setups between those two trades that would have produce winners and I would have been done for the day. Instead I got cold feet pulling the trigger and lost out... Turned a winning day into a break even day.

Had a long night at work last night so I got up very late. Traded two setups I like late in the trading session. Both winners but on the second one got a little cold feet and only took 2 ticks for the win instead of the full scalp of which I was looking for.

Nice easy day of trading all the setups I like are producing winners. I am going to stick with making 16 ticks a day and keeping my losses at minus 32 ticks. I have reset the stats and will see what happens at the end of the month. I need to work on discipline and patience. Only loser of the day was my runner not producing. If I had worked the scalp instead, it would have been a +25 tick day instead of the +17, but all in all it moved like it should have and am happy with the results.

Only one trade executed. Took my time and entered on a setup I know and with established support right underneath my entry. Trade took off from there for a total of 30 ticks. Should have stayed in for 14 more ticks realistically but I could not move my target fast enough out of the way... Very happy with my patience and that is what I need to work on the most out of anything.

Terrible trading day. Chasing trades that just aren't there... Was plenty of opportunity to make good sound trades off the setups I know that work and work well... Need a lot more patience. I am going to reset my stats and try again... I have to get through this mental block somehow.

Tired shorting a sustained move up instead of looking for a good pull back area... Was not a good idea. Gave all my profits away too that way of thinking... Was proud of the of the last two trades, recouped all my losses in two trades that were setup the way I called them.

Went back to the drawing board to learn all over what I have forgotten. I have been watching the 1 0n 1 sessions in the member's area and learned I am not nearly as good at this as I thought I was. Ed and now it seems Ken, are truly gifted traders and I have a lot to learn from them. Especially when it comes to their views and attitudes toward this market. You have to be very patience and wait for your setups that you have total confidence in. Taking those setups EVERY time because in the long run those will make you the money and that's what its all about.

I shaded two boxes and label them on my chart. Those are two trades that should have been taken and would have given first target easily. Nice pullbacks to established S/R.

Loss money to commissions but I feel it was some of my best trading to get back to even.

Lunch time trades hit first target on both trades but neither filled. Got out +1 tick on both..
