May 15th - No trades.

Got to the room at 6:15am a little late because I did a windows update that took forever. Another student was doing mic work already so I couldn't do mine. Good thing, when I placed my first trade my ninjatrader locked up. Couldn't resolve the issue and may have to buy a new computer. :-(

Waited for an hour and half for the market to give me something that looked like a decent trade. I missed one earlier that Ed pointed out. Got 3 ticks for it, the runner didn't run. :-( I wasn't there for the TAG at the 8:08am mark. Wish I could trade more. Just not enough time. Try again tomorrow.

First day of real mic work. Didn't go as planned. I felt way too tentative in taking trades and feel a little out of place. Hopefully I can over come my tentativeness. I need to get on with it.

May 12th - No Trades Today

I did not trade today. Was not feeling in the right frame of mind. I watched some good entries go by without pulling the trigger and that really upset me. So I decided no trading was the best course of action. The image above is my trades for the last month. Progress has been made and I am getting closer and closer to what Ed wants from us. I will reset my stats as of today and try and do some mic work to prepare for the acid test. I am resetting because I want to incorporate runners into my trading which Ive only done scalping mainly so far. One area I need working on is just going ahead and pulling the trigger on the trades. I have becoming too gun shy in my opinion.

Calling it a day. Not feeling well and had a fat finger trade at the end. Got out of the trade 2 contracts even and 2 contracts +2 ticks.

Working on the runners concept. Took a nasty stop loss, moved so quickly couldn't get out of the way. Few other losers were a little deep for my liking. Glad to come out of it on the positive side but lost money to commissions.

Market Replay - January 15th

Trying some market replay with runners. Am not too sold on the idea. I know Ed wants us to use the runner for the big run just in case but I would have done much better with my 4 tick wins and get out instead of the break even or scratch trade. Up $310 with the runners, 91.7% winners. If I would have just scalped the trades like I normally do, +$480 with no losers, 100% accurate. Maybe I will increase my scalp win from 4 to 5 or 6 ticks and get in and get out of trades.
