Ugly day in the market. Out of sorts and out of touch. Very lucky to only loss 10 ticks.

April 29th

Tough day for trading. First trade was clearly a break of resistance and should have been a pullback trade. I went the other way but kept my loss to 5 ticks. The third trade was a break out trade to the whole number that works really well. The only problem was a slippage fill of 2 ticks. Should have been filled at 101.96 instead of 101.98. Got out with little damage. Still 4 ticks ahead for the day and have to leave for work or I would stay and get my ticks.

April 28th

Took some one tick wonders. Price didn't move the way I liked and got out ahead of the target. First two trades would have been ok, last two would have stopped me out... Not sure if this is the right thing to do. Need more patients. Last trade is not pictured in chart but it was a break even.

Thursday April 24

Woke up a little late. Decided to trade a little and stayed patient. Trying to exit trades that do not move the way I like. Taking more control of being in the trade rather than letting THEM decide what they want to do with my contract.

No trading today. Still in Las Vegas and its hard having to get up another hour earlier. Will try again tomorrow.

Tuesday April 22nd

Last two trades were cut short for really no reason. I took good entries at good established S/R areas. Got cold feet to stick it out to the end. Need to work on that now. Left $140 on the table. :-(

Not much going on today. Pretty range bound all morning. Calling it a day. Heading to Las Vegas for a few days. Will try and get some trading in on the road

Used markers to plot the trades on the chart today.. Was too crowded to be legible. I was slipped on almost every trade today, so I took mostly one tick wins. Was patient and waited for setups that work well.. 100% today with 2 ticks MAE on the winning trades. :-)

Good day overall but I missed pulling the trigger on three trades that I normally take. I highlighted them in blue boxes. 24 easy ticks down the drain. PARALYSIS by ANALYSIS!

Need to work on being more selective on the setups. First loss was a trade to support that was not there at all. Should have realized that by looking left instead of getting excited about taking a trade.

Not happy with my trading. My frame of mind is not where it needs to be. I am pushing and pushing trades that are not there and taking loses along the way. Very depressing right now. Got to make some hard decisions about my trading. :-(
