Terrible attempt at trading from a cell phone. Just doesn't work. But still no excuse for the terrible entries and over confidence. Had some good stats going but wrecked the hell out of it today.

July 29th

I wrote down two results. The 97 positive ticks was an experiment of adding on to a trade at various levels of support. And the other positive tick number of 8 was the only trade I took this morning. It was the break down of the support level around 100.55. I am trying to be more patient and let the trades run more. So am taking more heat. I would ideally like to find better entries with less heat. Overall my stats are looking better and better but on some trades the heat is getting heavy. I need to real that in some more.

February 13th - Market Replay

Still trying to do at least one market replay a day. Need to stay sharp and focused. It has helped tremendously the last couple weeks. My stats are starting to looking like what Ed wants and the results are there as well.

Trade #2 I took the short off the close of yesterday but it didn't pan out. Next trade was the pullback from the high of the day. I could have waited a little longer and got a better price.

July 28th

Didn't trade the morning session again. Was busy with dog duty...lol... Took some good setups this afternoon and produced 19 ticks. I got nervous and cut short many of the trades probably left another 12 ticks easily on the table. Need to have confidence in my entries to know they will run to first target at least.

My trading stats for the last 12 trading days. Am showing $2400 gross. With commissions subtracted am $1948.64 to the good. Am on track. Just need to stay focused.

July 25th

Didnt trade the morning session, so I decided to try some afternoon trading. First trade, Stood in front of resistance and it ran against me for two more bars, I added at the down close because it was a TAG structure that had run up for 30 ticks. The trade worked out in my favor for 5 ticks but I had 6 contracts because of add on... So 30 ticks to the plus side on that trade. Trade 6 was a loser from the get go, was trying a trade off support but should have realized there just wasn't enough room to the up side for this trade. Of course it hit its head and immediately came back down. Need to be more selective, before jumping in...All in all a very good day for me. My best day ever to date. :-)

Stats for the day. These are the kinda numbers Ed and Ken pull each and everyday. I need to get to this plateau to enjoy the view. :-)

February 12th - Market Replay

Not too bad trading. I got caught trying to trade a narrow range and got out with losing 7 ticks. The other trades were just text book and I should look for these setups more often.

A lot of trading for me today. Chased some trades and that is not a good thing, need to find the discipline. Trades 11 and 12 were with a short stop and was hit almost immediately.

Not a good day price action wise. Should have sat on the sidelines today. Made 4 ticks but lost the battle to commissions again. My last loser was a shower trade or I would have got out at breakeven and not the loss. No more trades on when in the shower. lol

Didn't trade this morning too much. Took a break even and a 2 tick loss. Decided to try the afternoon last hour. A lot more movement in price. I have been trying to stay longer in the trade hence the larger MAE's. It have been working to some extent but I don't really feel comfortable

Gained 2 ticks but lost the battle to commissions. My loses came when I let the trade run while I was away from the computer. Had chances to get out even or one to two ticks to the good but was not around to take advantage of it....

Please disregard all the trades except the last two, those are my trades for the day.... I fat fingered and was upset with my trading because of mic work. I cannot seem to trade in front of the room like I should. Its a big hang up for me. I feel that I am letting people down in the room but the reality is, I am letting myself down.

Not the best day. the loser of the day was not really something I take. Was caught in the moment and should have passed in hind sight... Going long into a major resistance is a no no and I know that.

Going to keep doing market replays and drilling it into my head to trade from the edges and stay out of the middle and the chop.... No reason too trade nothing but the edges... Also, need to learn to stay in the trades a lot longer when they are moving in my favor. Last trade could have netted a nice 35 ticks with easy trade management.

This is how it should look everyday... Missed the TAG at 102.10, was a good trade because it was at the end of the 30 tick range plus previous S/R from the last major break down. Missed cause I was feeding the dogs...lol...

February 4th - Market Replay

I have been struggling with my trading the last few weeks and am at a lost for words. I have decided to go back to market replay and bar by bar and reestablish my foundation for solid trading. As you can see by the charts and graphs, I think its still there. Just have to put this into real use. The 48 ticks profit was done on 10 speed. I think with the replay moving this fast, I don't have time to think just react and that's what ED wants.. In sim or cash the market moves slow so it gives a person time to second guess themselves and kill their trades. Still am lost I feel and probably will need a 1 on 1 with Ed in the near future. Just not excited about this week of trading. Probably will trade tomorrow and that will be it for the week. I have been very cautious because of price action, low volume and the holiday coming up. Took the break out to the whole number and it worked out just fine.
